You are about to use our wallet app. The wallet section is in beta state.

We are not liable for any loss you may suffer in connection with interacting with this application. The accompanied Wallet app is in beta stage. Use it at your own risk.

You must read our Terms, which contain more detailed provisions binding on you relating to the app.

WiKey Cloud Solutions Inc. ("WiKey," "we," "our," or "us") values the privacy of individuals who use our website (wikey.io), applications, and services, including the WiKey wallet software utilizing Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology (collectively, our "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose Personal Data from users of our Services.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Data" means information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: As the WiKey wallet is a non-custodial, self-custody crypto asset wallet using MPC technology, we do not have access to your private keys or control over your digital assets. We collect minimal Personal Data necessary to provide our Services.

We collect limited Personal Data from various sources as described below:

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

When you interact with our Services, we may collect:

  • Account Information: Email address, username (if applicable)
  • WiKey Token Purchase Information: Transaction details related to acquiring WiKey tokens (while maintaining transaction privacy)
  • Support Information: Any information you provide when contacting customer support
  • Beta Program Information: Feedback, bug reports, and usage data if you participate in our beta testing

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type and version
  • Usage Information: Features used, actions taken within the wallet, error logs
  • Network Information: IP address (may be anonymized), network type
  • MPC Protocol Data: Non-identifying technical data related to MPC key generation and signing processes
  • Performance Data: App crashes, system performance metrics, response times

1.3 Information from Blockchain Networks

  • Public Blockchain Data: Publicly available transaction data on supported blockchain networks
  • Wallet Addresses: Public wallet addresses (not linked to your identity unless you provide this information)

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Service Provision

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the WiKey wallet Services
  • To process WiKey token acquisitions
  • To facilitate MPC-based key management and transaction signing
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries

2.2 Beta Phase Improvements

  • To identify and fix bugs, errors, and security vulnerabilities
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve user experience
  • To develop new features and functionality

2.3 Security and Compliance

  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

However, no system is completely secure. The decentralized nature of MPC technology means that your private keys are never fully assembled in one location, providing additional security for your digital assets.

  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
  • Fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy

Beta phase data may be retained longer for product improvement purposes.

12. Beta Phase Considerations

During the beta phase, we may collect additional diagnostic and usage data to improve the Services. This includes:

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WiKey wallet application, software, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by WiKey Cloud Solutions Inc., a Wyoming corporation ("WiKey," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our Services through our website at wikey.io or any related applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The WiKey wallet is currently in BETA phase. By using the Services, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with beta software, including but not limited to potential bugs, errors, and loss of digital assets.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. WiKey Wallet Services

3.1 Self-Custody Wallet

The WiKey wallet is a non-custodial, self-custody digital asset wallet utilizing Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology. This technology stores your secret keys in a decentralized manner, meaning:

  • You maintain full control over your digital assets
  • WiKey does not have access to or control over your private keys
  • You are solely responsible for the security and backup of your wallet access credentials

3.2 WiKey Tokens

To access and use the WiKey wallet Services, you must:

  • Purchase or receive WiKey tokens
  • Understand that WiKey tokens are NON-REFUNDABLE
  • Acknowledge that WiKey tokens are currently NOT TRADEABLE on any exchange or marketplace
  • Accept that the value and utility of WiKey tokens may fluctuate or become worthless

4. Beta Phase Disclaimer

THE WIKEY WALLET IS CURRENTLY IN BETA TESTING PHASE. YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT:
  • The Services may contain bugs, errors, and other problems that could cause system failures, data loss, or loss of digital assets
  • The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
  • Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without notice
  • Service interruptions, maintenance, or discontinuation may occur without prior notice
  • WIKEY IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF TOKENS, BITCOIN, OR ANY OTHER DIGITAL ASSETS, OR ANY OTHER LOSSES INCURRED WHILE USING THE BETA VERSION OF THE SERVICES

5. Your Responsibilities

5.1 Security

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet credentials
  • You must keep your recovery phrases, passwords, and access credentials confidential
  • WiKey cannot recover lost passwords or private keys
  • Any person with access to your credentials can access and transfer your digital assets

5.2 Compliance

  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • You will not use the Services for any illegal activities
  • You are responsible for determining and paying any applicable taxes

5.3 Risk Acknowledgment

You understand and accept the risks associated with digital assets, including:

  • Price volatility
  • Regulatory changes
  • Technology failures
  • Cybersecurity threats
  • Irreversibility of transactions

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal financial activities
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights
  • Distribute malware or engage in phishing
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Engage in market manipulation or fraudulent activities

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services, including the WiKey wallet software, MPC technology implementation, and associated content, remain the property of WiKey Cloud Solutions Inc. or our licensors. You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: WiKey Cloud Solutions Inc., its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for WiKey tokens in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of digital assets due to user error, forgotten passwords, or lost recovery phrases
  • Loss of digital assets due to software bugs or vulnerabilities during the beta phase
  • Market value fluctuations of digital assets
  • Unauthorized access to your wallet due to your failure to maintain security
  • Service interruptions or discontinuation
  • Actions of third parties or force majeure events

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WiKey Cloud Solutions Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Your digital asset transactions

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee:

  • Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free service
  • The accuracy or reliability of information obtained through the Services
  • That defects will be corrected
  • That the Services are free of viruses or harmful components

11. Modifications

11.1 To Terms: We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the Services or via email. Your continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11.2 To Services: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, with or without notice, especially during the beta phase.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your license to use the Services will immediately cease. You may terminate your use of the Services at any time, but WiKey tokens remain non-refundable.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Arbitration: Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Wyoming, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.

13.3 Class Action Waiver: You waive any right to bring claims as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

15. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and WiKey regarding the Services.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any of our affiliates or successors.
